The Sanibel Public Library reopened today, following about a week's delay due to various necessary permits and required inspections.

Officials at the library confirmed that it opened at 9 a.m. for regular business, with the new and completed portion now accessible to the community. The remaining half that has not been renovated will now be closed as the second and final phase of the Your Library Reimagined project is completed.
