June 18, 2019
Island Reporter, Captiva Current, Sanibel-Captiva Islander

PAWS a mature kitten, 6-12 months old, at the Coral Veterinary Clinic in Fort Myers. She was captured using a humane trap at Periwinkle Park. Examined on May 10, she weighed 6.5 pounds and has no microchip. The kitten was tested for FIV/FeLV - two infectious diseases - and tested negative. She was given injections for rabies and FVRCP. The kitten appears to be in good health, just very frightened. She was spayed on May 22. If you are interested in adopting her, contact Pam at PAWS at 239-472-4823.

PAWS has a mature mother kitten, 7-12 months old, and two of her four kittens available for adoption; two of the kittens have been spoken for. The mother combo tested negative, has had her shots and was treated for fleas, dewormed and spayed. The kittens - three females and one white-tan male - have had their first FVRCP immunization, dewormed, treated for fleas and completely checked out by the veterinarian. Those interested in adopting can contact Pam at PAWS at 239-472-4823.
