Spirit tree to benefit Community House

November 29, 2019
Island Reporter, Captiva Current, Sanibel-Captiva Islander

In The Garden on Sanibel has planted a spirit tree - an olive tree because it represents love and charity - to benefit local non-profits. The December recipient will be the Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum and Education Foundation. Canvas spirit tree tags can be purchased in the gift shop for $5, with 100 percent of the proceeds to benefit the recipient. Purchasers can write well wishes or blessings on the tags and attach them to the tree. Also, In The Garden will match all tag sales. At 3889 Sanibel-Captiva Road, Sanibel, In The Garden is open on Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, call 239-395-5859 or visit www.rswalsh.com.
